Brittany and William's relationship was no secret; any guy would have a hard time dealing with it, let alone Isaac.
Wasn't that like an opportunity just dropping into his lap?
"Who told you the password?"
Only a handful of people knew the password to this house.
"Bro Isaac, I..."
Joie was a bit embarrassed. She couldn't possibly tell Isaac that she had secretly memorized the password herself.
"Get out."
Isaac was stern.
The smile on Joie's face froze instantly. "Bro Isaac, I've been waiting for you for so long; you really don't want to talk to me?"
"What do we have to talk about?"
Isaac undid his tie as if he were shaking off a burden. "Being alone with a woman can lead to misunderstandings. I don't want to stir up unnecessary rumors."
"Bro Isaac, are you worried about me?"
Joie's eyes lit up.
Isaac was speechless. He just didn't want to have anything to do with Joie.
Joie put down the bowl of soup she was holding and went over to help Isaac take off his clothes, looking at him with adoration in her eyes. "Bro Isaac, all these years, I've always..."
"Don't touch me." Isaac dodged away. He had seen that look in Joie's eyes in many people before. He wasn't lacking in admirers.
Joie was pushed away. Her eyes were filled with sadness.
"Bro Isaac, all these years, you've been so good to me. I thought you had feelings for me."
Isaac was already irritated, and then he was even more impatient. "Joie, I've always treated you like my little sister. If this happens again, don't come to the Salter family anymore."
Joie was stunned.
Little sister again?
