Isaac had a “you’re overreacting” look on his face, and after saying that, he closed the door and left.

Brittany felt irritated, rubbed her hair, and painfully got out of bed.

If she had known that she would be brought back by him, she would not have fallen asleep the previous night.

Walking into the bathroom, Brittany found all new toiletries. Even the body wash was her most commonly used style.

She brushed her teeth and walked out of the guest room.

There was breakfast on the table. There was a sandwich, a plate of pasta, and a bottle of milk.

Isaac came out of the kitchen with another plate of pasta, saw her standing at the staircase, and his lips moved slightly, "Time for grub."

Brittany had stayed at Radiant Residences before, and the layout there was almost identical to what it was five years ago.

She felt a bit dazed for a moment, as if they had never been apart for five years.

That realization made Brittany feel threatened. She shook off the thought and hurriedly went downstairs.

Walking to the table, she picked up the milk and took a sip before asking, "Where’s Emily?"

"She's at the hospital looking after Daniel."

Isaac put down his cutlery and sat next to her, "I've already had a word with Olivia. She won’t bother you again."

Brittany paused her drinking. A little bit of milk was smudged on her lips, and she said, "Got it."

"About what happened at the wedding..." Isaac looked at her indifferent face and said, "I didn't orchestrate it. I had no idea you were framed until I went to that room."
