Robert couldn't believe it. Brittany refused to marry Johnny and didn't want to join the Field family either. Yet, she was willing to marry a man who lived off a woman?

Patrina told him about what she saw last time. "No matter how handsome he is, he's still a man kept by a woman!"

The idea made Robert shudder even more.

"You rest at home, I'm heading out."

Robert decided to go to the hospital himself. The Dustin family was in trouble and he needed to bring Brittany back. Otherwise, the sales of the new product would be worrying. The Dustin family couldn't afford any more losses.

Patrina watched his back, lightly biting her lip, and only then did she return to her room.

Isaac wanted to take care of Brittany himself, but his work was busy. He hired a caregiver during the day and came to take over at night. The caregiver was gentle and they chatted happily.

When Robert showed up, Brittany was surprised.

"What, you don't recognize me after all this time?" Robert pushed the door open with a stern face, carrying an air of nobility, as if coming here was beneath him.

The smile on Brittany's face froze. Clearly, she didn't expect Robert to show up.

The caregiver, good at reading people, immediately stood up and asked, "Ms. Dustin, do you know this man?"

Mr. Salter had instructed not to let strangers near Ms. Dustin.

Robert scoffed, "I'm her father."

Not seeing Brittany's husband, he believed what Patrina had said even more. A man kept by a woman, what on earth did Brittany see in him?

The caregiver had been taking care of Brittany for several days, and this was the first time she heard that Brittany had a family member visiting.
