The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 66

Brittany glanced at the chat records, fully aware that Patrina wouldn't give up easily. But she couldn't stand Patrina dragging Isaac Salter into this mess.

It's ironic how a regular working person got mocked as a "male gold digger"! How ironic!

"Bri, how about we go to the class reunion together?" Hannah Chester knew Isaac's identity and wanted to help Brittany navigate through the controversies.

Brittany felt a bit hesitant, but just the thought of facing those people made her headache.

The discussions in the chat group continued, escalating even further.

Hannah was furious and rolled up her sleeves, ready to speak up.

"Shut up, Bri's husband is a man with a legitimate job, why rely on women to live? Is there any evidence?"

"Patrina, instead of stirring up trouble, why don't you mind your own business? I heard the Field family is interested in a marriage proposal. What, are you desperate to marry a fool?"

When Patrina saw this, it hit a nerve, and she angrily threw her phone down.

Hannah, seeing no reply from Patrina, smiled triumphantly.

Ask for trouble! Everyone in the group knew about what happened at the engagement banquet and sensed that something was amiss, so they refrained from commenting further.

"Bri, don't hesitate. Let's make sure they have nothing to say at the reunion this time!"

"I'll consider it."

Brittany pursed her lips. She had already met Isaac's parents, and Isaac would accompany her to the class reunion. It seemed like they were helping each other out.

Hannah knew Brittany had agreed and her eyes sparkled. "Great! I saw your husband before, and he's quite handsome. Spend more time together, build a good relationship, and then have a wedding. I'll prepare a big gift for you."

She had it all planned out. If Brittany and Isaac were together, it would be beneficial. Firstly, Isaac's distinguished background would protect Brittany. Secondly, despite his reserved nature, he led a simple private life and rarely had negative news. If they could get along well, Brittany would have a stable future, and the Dustin family wouldn't dare to bully her anymore!

Back home, Brittany found her hands were occupied. Recently, Isaac had been preparing their dinners or ordering takeout. When Isaac returned, Brittany had just finished her design sketches.

"Welcome back."

Isaac put down his briefcase, took off his coat, and glanced at his watch. He had an international conference at night, and time was tight.

"Shall we order takeout?"

"Sure."
