The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 905

After spending a fortnight in Craneville, Brittany had caught up with all her friends.

Since Ophelia called off her engagement with the Lynette family, Vincent had been relentless. He repeatedly apologized and professed his love for her.

Ophelia turned a deaf ear to his apologies and confronted him about the other woman's pregnancy. "And what about the child she's carrying?"

Vincent hesitated. "The child is innocent. Once the baby is born, I'll have her leave Craneville. She won't disrupt our life."

Ophelia's jaw dropped at his shamelessness. "So, let me get this straight, you expect me to play stepmother before I even marry you?"

"No, I can have someone else raise the child," Vincent stammered in panic.

Ophelia gave his cheek a patronizing pat. "Vincent, you two are so wrapped up in your love affair, why drag me into it? Just be happy together and leave me out of it."

Vincent, having learned his lesson from several rejections, stopped pestering Ophelia.

Brittany discussed with Isaac and decided to stay another week before leaving Craneville.

Brittany missed Daniel terribly. They would video chat every day, and as time went by, Daniel's smile faded, and he even began to look unhappy.

"Honey, I will be back next week, just be a good boy at home."

Daniel pouted, "Then you have to sleep with me when you get back."

"Of course."

"I want a whole week's worth of cupcakes!"

"Alright."

Isaac was left speechless.

"And you have to take me to the amusement park, tell me stories, and pick me up from school,,,"

"Daniel Salter," Isaac took the tablet and placed his other hand on Brittany's. "Don't push your luck."

Daniel sensed a chill in the air. "Hi Daddy, bye Daddy."

The call ended on the other side.

Isaac threw down the tablet and glanced at Brittany with a hint of jealousy. "Have you ever thought about me while you agreed to spend every day sleeping with him, telling him stories?"
