The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 672

The man muttered the room number, and Allison made her way through the dimly lit hotel corridor. Tonight, she had to clear things up with Aaron. No matter what.

Sure, she liked Aaron. He'd been a mentor to her, after all, and she did have a soft spot for him. His art was mesmerizing, and she truly hoped they could remain friends, nothing more. But she was caught in a storm, and dragging Aaron into it was the last thing she wanted.

She knew all too well about Lucian's possessiveness. He might not love her, but he wouldn't tolerate any other man getting close. If Lucian found out, Aaron would be in serious trouble. Nobody dared to cross Lucian. Even though Aaron came from a wealthy family, his background was nothing compared to the Lindberg Corporation empire.

Standing at Aaron's door, Allison glanced around to make sure she wasn't being followed. She knocked.

Aaron opened the door, a look of surprise on his face. "I didn't expect to see you here. Come in."

Allison stepped inside. Just as the door clicked shut, the sound of a camera shutter echoed in the hallway.

A woman emerged from the corner, wearing a baseball cap and a face mask. She pulled out her phone and looked at the photos she'd just taken of Allison at Aaron's door. It was like she'd stumbled upon a gold mine. She quickly headed for the stairwell, avoiding the elevator, and once in her room, she removed her disguise. It was Valeria.

Valeria had planned to seduce Aaron that night. A little tipsy from the wine, dressed provocatively, she believed no man could resist. After all, Aaron might not be into public displays, but Valeria was convinced, "Every man strays."

Years in the entertainment industry had made her cynical; she hadn't met a man who wasn't playing a part. Aaron's likes on Allison's social media posts were enough proof for her.

What did Allison have that she didn't? Allison couldn't hold a candle to her allure.

That night, Valeria had gone to the seventh floor in a black lace bralette, confident in her figure. She was sure Aaron would fall for her once her coat came off. To avoid potential stalkers, she took the stairs, only to see Allison at Aaron's door.
