Jack's gaze cut sharply over Hudson and Andrew.

Andrew's heart sank; he knew he was done for. He dropped to his knees, pleading, “Mr. Lindberg, I swear, I didn’t do anything. It was Hudson who got handsy with Allison, not me. I’m innocent. I had no idea Hudson was harassing the new girls at work. That scumbag tricked me too!”

Hudson, watching Andrew throw him under the bus, felt his rage boil over. If he was going down, he wasn’t going alone. “Mr. Landry, everyone at Epic Entertainment knows we’re thick as thieves. Now you’re pinning it all on me? Who’s gonna buy that you’re squeaky clean?” He turned to Lucian, “Mr. Lindberg, it’s Andrew. Every show he approves, he hikes the actors’ pay by thirty percent and pockets the difference. Since becoming CEO, he’s skimmed at least 700 million off Epic Entertainment.”

Andrew’s face turned ghostly pale. “Hudson, you’re full of it!”

He couldn’t believe the man he had mentored was now stabbing him in the back!

Lucian had no interest in their mutual mudslinging. Holding Allison close, he just wanted to leave.

But Andrew wasn’t done. “Mr. Lindberg, Allison was the one who called us here, not me. I’m innocent. I didn’t even want to come, but Allison insisted, claiming she was your mistress and threatening us if we didn’t show. I don’t know what beef Hudson has with her, but his accusations of embezzlement are nonsense. He’s got no proof!”

Lucian looked down at the woman in his arms. “You called them here?”

Allison’s face was ashen, her lashes quivering. “So, you’re questioning me now?”

“No, Allison.”

Even though Lucian denied it, Allison saw the doubt flicker in his eyes.

She let out a small laugh, her voice barely above a whisper. “I called them to ask why they pulled my lead role. Now that Epic Entertainment is getting audited, these two got smart and refused to meet. So, I used your name as leverage, threatening not to let them off the hook.”
