When Joshua took Thalassa's hand, her fingertips were icy cold, making him feel as though he was touching all the hardships and struggles she had faced over the past thirty years.

His heart clenched painfully. This was the first time he, as a father, had held his daughter's hand, the first time he truly felt the weight of her difficult journey.

Helena, in her miniature wedding dress and holding a flower basket, wobbled unsteadily and accidentally stepped on Hertha's dress, tumbling down.
