"I'm not gonna let you adopt Pattie. Keep your distance from my daughter." Leo rejected her bluntly, "How I raise my kid is my business. You don't get to meddle. If you want a kid, have one yourself."

With that, Leo got in his car and drove off to the hospital.

After Pattie was taken away by Herman, Penny's son fell sick and was holed up in the hospital, with a fever that was not backing down. Leo was in a state of panic. He remembered someone once said that his son's arrival to this world was all thanks to Pattie, only with Pattie around, his son would be safe. So Leo rushed to pick up Pattie.
