Craig was never one to make promises about the future.
That didn't mean he wanted Aurora to lower her living standards because of him.
She was still his princess, his gem.
He'd figure out how to give her all the things she loved, be it her favorite foods, drinks, or pastimes.
"Jealous because I was talking to Duncan?" Aurora teased, her eyes curving into a smile, "Oh, come on, not everyone who approaches me is genuinely interested. A lot of them are just trying to get a foot in the door with the Lopez Corporation."
"Oh."
"Still jealous?"
"Not jealous."
She tilted her head back, mimicking him, "Not~jealous! Yeah, right, not jealous, I got it."
"..."
Aurora chuckled, "Can I stay over at your place tonight?"
Craig paused, "Why?"
"I'm scared to be alone at home! Plus, now that we've got the place, we could talk about how to decorate it tonight!"
"…All the decorating decisions are yours."
"So, you're okay with it?"
He cracked a smile, "Nope, not until we're married."
"…" Aurora almost wanted to punch him, "You sound just like my brother! So old-fashioned!"
…
After a brief talk about kids with Miles, Felicity found herself lying in bed one night, suddenly picturing the scene he described.
That tech geek would surely teach his kids how to use a computer early on!
But imagining Miles, with his eyes lowered, patiently guiding a child, she had to admit it was an appealing thought.
Such a warm scene.
