"The baby's definitely on the way; she's dilated to three centimeters now. Would you like to wait for a natural birth, or should we go ahead with a C-section?"

Everett pursed his lips, a frown creasing his brow, "What does my daughter want?"

"Ms. Miller would like to try for a natural birth."

"Then, as long as it's safe for her, we'll do as she wishes."

"Understood, Mr. Lopez!"

After the doctor went back into the maternity ward, Dorothy tentatively asked, "Should we...?"

"No."

She sighed and nodded, "Alright, then I'll call Langston. He told me before to let him and Felicity know if Abigail goes into labor. They'll come back home."

"Fine."

Dorothy stepped aside to dial Miles's number.

He picked up quickly, "Mom?"

"Abigail's in labor, she's been taken to the delivery room. Are you and Felicity coming back?"

It sounded like Miles was consulting Felicity, and within seconds, he replied, "We're coming! We'll pack up and head to the airport."

"Great!" Dorothy replied with a smile, then added, "Abigail... seems to have had some trouble with Craig. If you get here and don't see Craig around, maybe don't bring him up. We don't want to upset Abigail right after she's had the baby."

"Craig did something to Abigail?!" Miles's voice rose.
