The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 104

The air was thick with a palpable tension, as if the twilight itself had been put on ice.

Leopold's face, darker and colder than the twilight, sent chills down Aurelia's spine.

After paying the bill, he walked briskly towards the beach, his steps seemingly echoing his anger.

She followed with her head down, utterly crestfallen.

The distance between them gradually increased.

The man ahead seemed to have noticed and subconsciously slowed down.

Aurelia quickly sped up to catch up. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. Upon seeing his icy countenance, she immediately looked away.

She bit her lip and rubbed her belly, "I wonder if the babies can sense your negative energy."

Leopold was taken aback, feeling like his rage had been swallowed up by a cotton cloud — unable to be released or dispersed, causing a deep internal discomfort.

He took a deep breath, trying hard to control the ticking time bomb of his emotions.

So that he could avoid being driven mad by this woman.

Aurelia pursed her lips, her voice came in a soft whisper, "I wonder if your future wife will treat our children well. If she has her own children, she might neglect ours, right?"

Leopold stopped in his tracks, turned around, and looked at her with a serious expression. "I will never have children with another woman," he declared without hesitation.

Aurelia was taken aback. Did he not plan on having children with Elowen or any other woman?

Was it because he had been traumatized by the sibling rivalry between half-brothers and half-sisters?

"What if you marry a woman you love? You still won't have children?"

"No. Unless..." he stopped mid-sentence, casting her a deep and inscrutable glance.

"Unless what?" she quickly asked.
