The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 110

A flicker of flame flashed in Leopold's eyes, but instead of anger, he replaced it with a smirk, "Jealous?"

She pulled a funny face, "I don't even like you. Why would I be jealous?"

Each word stabbed like a sharp needle into Leopold's heart, irking him, igniting a simmering rage.

"You're not worthy."

She laughed at herself, "I know, that's why I won't be foolish enough to fall for you. It's a lost cause."

"Truly self-aware."

He seemed to be praising her, yet his face was dangerously unhappy, his eyes icy, as if he was trying to freeze her alive.

She shivered, quickly changing the topic, "But I do respect you very much, because you're my boss, giving me bread and butter."

Leopold was livid.

Clearly, she only saw him as her cash cow.

He sat down on the couch, his cold attitude making the room go cold.

Aurelia quickly grabbed her jacket, wrapping it around herself to keep warm.

Although she held a paintbrush, her heart was not in it, her gaze absentminded.

Leopold watched her back with a brooding stare. For a moment, he felt a strange urge to fiercely claim her.

This urge frightened even himself.

It wasn't the first time. Every time he saw her, a strong desire to possess her would inexplicably surge, wanting to claim her as his own, allowing no one else to covet her.

Perhaps it was due to the contract they'd signed, legally, she did belong to him!

He peeled an orange, popping each segment into his mouth.

However, the fruit did nothing to cool his temper, quite the opposite.

Having eaten it, his rage only increased.

Aurelia sneakily glanced at him.

He was eating another orange.

Too much if he didn't like it.

Ah, fickle men!
