The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 418

She vetted her anger and resentment, yet it was never enough. She had no intention of dating anyone, least of all with Elvis. Her interactions with Elvis were purely out of spite, a childish attempt to piss Leopold up.

For he had nearly driven her to the brink of insanity, she was holding on by a mere thread.

"Leopold," she began, her voice laced with venom, "I swear to God that I'll never love you in my life, you disgusting two-timer. If I ever eat my word, may I be rotten to the..."

Before she could finish, he silenced her with a harsh kiss. He wouldn't allow her to swear like that or let her utter such harsh words.

His heart was being shredded to pieces.

A shiver ran through her, and as the scene of him and Megan in an intimate embrace crossed her mind, rage filled her. With all the strength she could muster, she pushed him away, raised her hand, and slapped him in the face.

"Don't touch me. You make me sick!"

He had kissed another woman and wanted to kiss her. It was disgusting!

Leopold didn't feel the physical pain, which was nothing compared to the torment in his heart.

"Hate me if you must. Blame me if you want. I accept it. But you will not, under any circumstance, hook up with Elvis. Even if we divorce, you're not allowed to be with him. Not unless I'm dead!"

With a final warning, he turned around and left.

Aurelia let out a hollow laugh filled with desolation and bitterness. The more he forbade her from doing something, the more she wanted to do it. It should make him think twice about divorce, right?

If she could take Kane with her, she would sign the divorce papers without hesitation and leave without looking back at the deteriorating marriage and the heartless man.

But she couldn't. The Stirling family would never allow her to take Kane away with her.

Luckily, she had a backup plan. She had yet to reveal William's identity. Otherwise, the Stirling family would take him, too, putting him in danger.
