The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 461

Aurelia felt a wave of nausea, thankful she hadn't eaten much for breakfast, or else she might have lost it all.

If Leopold were to be seen cooing with another woman behind her back, she would block him out of her life forever, with no chance of reconciliation.

Emma's face, hidden behind a mask, had turned livid, her fingers trembling with anger.

Aurelia held her hand, urging her to bear with it. She had secretly recorded everything Susan had said earlier.

Just then, a posh lady sauntered in, and the brunette sales associate’s eyes lit up, "It's my client." She rushed over to greet her.

Susan cast her a disgruntled look, but she didn't care. Once she married into a wealthy family, she'd quit her job and live the life of a lady of leisure. She'd come back here and buy every purse in the store.

As the well-dressed woman picked up a bag to inspect, Emma also reached for one.

Seeing this, Susan approached them with a frown, "I thought I made it clear. These are expensive goods, not to be touched."

Emma huffed, "If she can touch it, why can't I?"

Susan rolled her eyes dismissively, "She's a regular customer, but what about you? Can you afford it? If you dirty it, how can we sell it to others?"

Aurelia remained calm, "Where's your manager? If your store has a rule that only regular customers can try out the bags and new customers can’t, we'll apologize immediately. But if no such rule exists, you owe us an apology."

Apologize? In her dreams.

Susan looked at them with contempt, scoffing, "The manager is not in. There's a discount store 500 meters down the road, their bags are more suitable for low-income consumers. Please take your business there."

As she spoke, Ritchie walked in. His office was close by, which is how he knew Susan.

Seeing Ritchie, Susan temporarily ignored Aurelia and Emma, sauntering over to him.
