Avery instinctively caught her, asking, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, just a bit dizzy." Bonnie held her forehead.
The bodyguard and assistant on the side rushed over to find the origin of the golf ball, which turned out to be a mishit from another golf course. The other party apologized immediately.
Avery helped Bonnie sit on a bench and asked his assistant to bring some ice.
"I'll have my assistant take you to the hospital for a checkup later."
Bonnie cracked a smile, her eyes welled up with tears, "I'm fine, as long as you're not hurt. We can't afford to have anything happen to that face of yours."
Avery checked her wound, "Same goes for you. With that bump, how are you going to shoot later?"
Bonnie lowered her head and didn't respond.
Avery handed her a bottle of water and asked, "I'll talk to the director later, and we'll move your scenes to the end."
"Thank you," Bonnie said.
"I should be the one thanking you," Avery replied, after all, she was injured trying to protect him.
Outside the set, the paparazzi had already caught this juicy story, each of them excited. Soon, headlines were made.
"Avery and Bonnie are suspected of rekindling old flame."
"Ex-girlfriend injured blocking ball for Avery."
Back at Blossom Villa.
Leah was lounging on the couch playing video games.
William rushed over in a panic, "This is bad, Leah. You've only been resting for two days and Uncle Avery has been snatched away."
What? Leah jumped off the couch to check the entertainment news.
It was Bonnie. Three years had passed and she still couldn't let go of Avery. Or was it because her career wasn't going well and she wanted Avery to help her?
