"Aurelia, why are you just now getting out of the car?" Avery rushed over.
Aurelia touched her forehead and quickly excused herself, "I suddenly felt car sick, so I took a break."
At that moment, a butterfly fluttered by, landing in her hair. Seeing this, Leah quickly raised her phone to capture the scene.
"Aurelia, this butterfly seems to adore you, perching upon your hair. It must be enchanted by your beauty. You're so stunning that not only do the aristocratic gentlemen fall at your feet, but even butterflies are bewitched." She spoke, casting a seemingly casual glance at Leopold.
Leopold rolled his eyes. Such a mischievous, bold girl.
Aurelia chuckled, "That's because I washed my hair this morning. The scent of the shampoo probably attracted it."
Leah stuck out her tongue, "I washed my hair this morning too, but why didn't it land on my hair?"
Aurelia giggled, "You used ginger shampoo, so how could that attract it?"
Leah scratched her head, laughing along.
She had mistakenly used Zack's hair growth shampoo that morning, which was laden with a strong ginger scent.
William caught a butterfly and ran over excitedly, "Mommy, I caught a butterfly. Can I take it home to keep?"
Aurelia stroked his head, "Sweetheart, this is its home. If you take it away, it won't be able to see its parents, siblings, or friends anymore. It would be very sad."
William blinked, "Okay, I'll let it go home then." He opened his tiny fingers and the butterfly fluttered away, quickly disappearing into the flower bed.
Watching the direction in which the butterfly flew, his bright eyes dimmed slightly, "Mommy, I miss home in Goldstone too, and my friends. Can we return to Goldstone?"
Aurelia's heart sank slightly. Could she ever return to Goldstone?
