The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 549

It was a universal truth that only those favored by big money can make it big in the entertainment industry. Even if they were talented, it would do them no good if they lacked financial backing.

However, an artist of Avery's caliber, tall, handsome, incredibly good-looking, a brilliant actor, and a fantastic dancer and singer, was a rare find in the entertainment industry. Every investor loved him.

Avery smiled, "Mack, you always get me."

Mack poured him a glass of red wine and replied, "I recently took on a movie role, and if you're free, could you come over and make a guest appearance? Your presence would surely skyrocket the popularity."

Avery nodded slightly, "Sure, I'll see if I can make it."

The waiter brought the menu. Avery insisted on picking up the tab and let everyone order their dishes. Each person ordered a dish.

Avery ordered Leah's favorite lobster thermidor and steak frites.

Once the food arrived, he served Leah a piece of lobster.

"You must be hungry. Eat more."

Foodies hate being hungry the most.

Leah smiled and served him a steak.

Bonnie sat on the side, feeling ignored and bitter. Avery was a considerate person. Every time they ate together in the past, he would serve her food and save the best for her.

However, now, his gentleness was no longer for her, but for a simple country girl.

So her feelings were hurt.

Evan laughed sarcastically, "You and your assistant are so close, no wonder there are rumors."

Avery raised his hand and gently patted Leah's head, "She's not just my assistant, to me, she's like my little sister."

Leah sighed in her heart. It was her youthful face that always made Avery treat her as a little sister, never as a woman.
