"Skyler, who's your Superman?" William asked with a curious twinkle in his eye.
"He's my guardian angel. Whenever someone tries to bully me, he swoops in to punish them," Skyler said, patting his little shoulder. "He'll protect you, too, someday."
William blinked. "Can I meet him?"
"He doesn't like being seen. He wears a mask just like you. He doesn't want to show his face," Skyler explained.
"Oh," William raised an eyebrow. "So, he’s like the Superman, Spider-man and Batman on TV, right?"
"Exactly," Skyler nodded.
William's bright eyes sparkled in the sunlight. "Skyler, I'm so jealous. You have all these amazing people around you."
"They'll be your friends, too, one day," Skyler said with a smile.
"What about your brother Geoffrey? Is he your twin?" William inquired.
Skyler nodded. "You got it. We're twins, so we look exactly alike. But he's also fond of wearing masks. I've never seen his face."
Wow. William felt a rush of excitement inside, just like him and his buddy Kane.
"If you've never seen his face, how do you know you look alike?"
"He told me so," Skyler looked down. "I don't like Geoffrey. He keeps nasty... bugs that bite."
William wasn't a fan of bugs, either, "Why does he keep nasty bugs?"
Skyler leaned in with a mysterious allure, whispering in his ear, "Because he's a wizard."
William's eyes lit up. "He can do magic?"
"Mhm," Skyler nodded. "He has a magic wand. Anyone under its spell does exactly as he says."
"Wow! That's so cool," William bubbled with excitement. "I wanna learn magic, too."
