William bounded over with a joyful spring in his step, dressed up as a little tiger.
"Skyler, I'm gonna catch the baddie who hurt Mommy and teach him a lesson through the Grim Reaper's Stamp," he declared with a growl.
Skyler ruffled his hair, nodding vigorously, "Alright, buddy, we'll catch him together."
In the meantime, Aurelia slipped away to the restroom, with her bodyguards keeping a vigilant watch outside.
As she stepped out of the stall, she noticed a tall figure at the sink, washing up.
Aurelia dried her hands and reached for a paper towel, but the woman had other plans. Silently, she pulled a tiny syringe from her pocket. The needle was so fine that it could pierce the skin without a trace.
Just as the woman made her move, aiming for Aurelia's neck, she dodged with lightning reflexes. Spinning around, she delivered a flying kick that hit the assailant in the forehead.
The figure grunted and fell to the ground but was up in an instant, leaping through the window with the agility of a cat.
Aurelia gave chase, determination etched on her face.
But she wasn't really Aurelia, and she was a bodyguard in disguise, a decoy to lure out the enemy.
Leopold had anticipated another attack and had instructed a bodyguard to impersonate Aurelia as a protective measure.
Skyler and William, who were sitting in a distant gazebo waiting for Aurelia, saw the scene.
"Skyler, that's gotta be the bad guy who wants to hurt my mommy," William said, his eyes wide with concern.
"You stay here, and don't move. I'm gonna catch the bad guy, giving him the Grim Reaper's Stamp." Skyler said, his words laced with determination. He dashed off like a bolt of lightning, and the bodyguard quickly ushered William into the safety of the car.
The assailant fled through the park into a maze of old alleyways, perfect for hiding.
Despite an exhaustive search, the bodyguards found no trace of him.
Suddenly, a thumping sound echoed through the alleys. The sound was rhythmic and intense.
