Avery was in a sour mood.
"Please, only guys can truly judge other guys. From now on, you gotta listen to me. If I say a guy's no good, then you can't date him."
Leah pouted, complaining, "Then hurry up and find me a decent one. I'm totally ready to dive into the dating pool."
Avery stretched out his hand and ruffled her hair, "You're still young. What's the rush with love? Give it a few years, and I'll scout someone for you."
Leah puffed her cheeks, replying, "You're barely older than me, and you've had your share of romances, so why can't I?"
Avery's thoughts were a tangled mess. Was she actually falling for Hyvin?
"I said no, and that means no. Be a good girl, okay?" Avery persuaded.
Leah stamped her foot, "You're not even my real brother, so back off. I can handle my own stuff." With that, she stormed out of the dressing room.
Avery was speechless. Since when did she have such a temper?
At that moment, Aurelia happened to walk up to the door and caught the tail end of Leah's bad mood. She intercepted her, "What's up? You didn't get into it with Avery, did you?"
"No." Leah shook her head, "I'm off to check the set, and see how they've gotten with the shoot."
"Alright then." Aurelia let her go.
After she left, Aurelia walked into the dressing room and found Avery punching the table in frustration. Those two had definitely been at loggerheads.
"You actually got into a spat with Leah? That's a rare sight."
"We didn't fight," Avery quickly masked his frustration.
But Aurelia had a sixth sense for these things and wasn't easily fooled.
"Spill the beans. What happened?"
Avery was silent for a moment before muttering, "She seems so savvy, but she's naive enough to be charmed by a few pretty words and now she's considering dating him. That guy's a notorious playboy around here. Every actress he works with ends up in some scandal or another."
