Skyler flashed a cheeky grin, "Guess I'll give it a shot. Once I've got this stutter licked, I'll apply to teach at the Pinnacle Ivy League School."
Aurelia chuckled, "By then, you can get a letter of recommendation from Leopold. He's one of the shareholders of the school."
Just then, the butler announced that lunch was ready.
Aurelia herded Skyler and Kane into the dining room.
Tanya gave Skyler a warm smile, "Skyler, your grandma and mom have been missing you. When your dad heads over to Eastwood Heights next week, you should hitch a ride and pay them a visit before coming back."
Skyler shook his head vigorously, like a bobblehead, "No way. I'm not going back. I'll video chat with my grandma and mom. I'm gearing up to apply to the Pinnacle Ivy League School as a teacher. Next month, I've got the teacher certification exam. I'm swamped."
He remembered Kane's advice. When the stutter started acting up, simply take a pause.
Hanson raised his eyebrows, "You want to be a teacher?"
"Yes. I'm off to work." Skyler's expression was dead serious.
Hanson couldn't help but laugh, "Looks like our Skyler's all grown up."
Tanya frowned slightly, "You're still a kid yourself. How are you going to teach others? What if you have to deal with some unruly ones?"
Kane spoke in his usual deliberate manner, "Aunt Tanya, no need to fret. The Pinnacle Ivy League School isn't the average school. It's filled with high-IQ prodigies. There aren't any bad eggs there."
After all, the Pinnacle Ivy League School wasn't somewhere she could just buy the way into. Even the emperor's son wouldn't get in without the smarts.
Hanson smiled, "It's rare for Skyler to be this driven. We need to support him all the way."
