After breakfast, Aurelia returned to the Stirling Mansion with Leopold and Kane.
Leopold disguised himself as a bodyguard, providing round-the-clock protection for Kane.
Hanson arrived with Skyler in tow. He still hoped to persuade Jessica to allow Skyler to officially join the Stirling family during the upcoming Ancestral Ceremony.
Kane took Skyler to his room, and they immersed themselves in the world of robots.
Jessica, with Hanson in tow, headed to the study.
"I'm not sure what Leopold has planned, but I think having Skyler recognized during the Ancestral Ceremony is more than appropriate. As long as Skyler's identity isn't restored, I'm always going to be uneasy."
Jessica spoke with gravity, "Did Skyler ever mention to you that he has a twin brother named Geoffrey?"
Hanson paused, a fleeting and indescribable look crossing his eyes, "Did Skyler tell you that? Is he having another episode?"
"An episode? What kind of illness does he have?" asked Jessica.
Hanson sighed, "Ever since the accident when he injured his head, he developed a delusional disorder. He keeps saying he has a brother named Geoffrey. Tanya and I have consulted numerous doctors and managed to keep his condition under control. Now that he's alone at Elysium, he probably forgot his medication and is relapsing."
Jessica looked at him sternly, "How can you be so sure Geoffrey is a figment of Skyler's imagination and not a real person?"
Hanson waved his hand dismissively, "Tanya only gave birth to him, and how could there possibly be a twin brother?"
"When Tanya gave birth, the Heninger family wasn't present, were they?" probed Jessica.
Hanson fell silent. After a moment, he replied, "Indeed, we weren't there. Tanya loves to travel, even with a baby on the way. She went into early labor while on a trip. I got there afterward, but the doctors had records of the birth. If she had twins, we would've known."
