The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 819

Almost everyone thought that Aurelia would get back together with Arnold, perhaps even Aurelia herself entertained the thought.

If he hadn't been so domineering, she might have already returned to Arnold's side.

Aurelia had been preoccupied with thoughts of Megan, and after the banquet at the Stirling Mansion, she headed straight to Leopold's room.

"Did you see Megan's child? Was it really switched?"

The effects of the evening's festivities had left Leopold in a sour mood. He swirled the teacup in his hand and muttered, "I've sent his hair to get the DNA samples tested."

Aurelia was almost certain the child wasn't the one Megan had birthed.

The AK Group had meticulously placed Megan by Leopold's side for a classic bait and switch.

If anything happened to Kane, this child would be Leopold's only legitimate son. Then, with Geoffrey sneakily taking over as regent in Skyler's stead, the Stirling family would effectively be under their control.

It was a perfect plan. But they had underestimated Leopold, Jessica and her. She was known for her wild imagination, and there wasn't a plot or scheme she couldn't fathom.

"Is Megan's child yours?"

"What does it matter if he is or isn't?" Leopold retorted with a brooding glare because he thought she wouldn't care about it.

Aurelia said with anger, "If he's yours, it means you're a liar. All that talk about having no other children, about remaining faithful to me, and it's all just deceit. I'll never trust you again. I'm cutting all ties with you."

Leopold stretched out an arm of steel, pulling her into his embrace, his finger hooking under her chin, "When have you ever trusted me?"

Aurelia's almond-shaped eyes widened with fury, "You abandoned me to mess around with a mistress, how could you ever be trustworthy? Do you think I'm a fool?"
