The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 89

Upon seeing his sister and Arnold, Avery raced towards them, his face lit up with delight. "Hey, Aurelia, Arno!"

Aurelia had originally intended to ruffle his hair affectionately, but she didn't want to ruin the hairstyle he'd carefully put together. Instead, she gave his shoulder a friendly pat. "Got all your lines memorized?"

Grinning, Avery replied, "No worries, every word. We Hawthornes are renowned for our good looks and sharp minds."

With a teasing smile, Arnold chimed in, "What a coincidence, so are we Stirlings."

Sticking out his tongue playfully, Avery twinkled his eyes mischievously. "Well then, you and my sister would be a perfect match. Why don't you become my brother-in-law?"

Aurelia shot him a glance, "Quit fooling around, Avery. You need to get ready. They're about to start filming."

A charming smile tugged at the corners of Arnold's lips, subtle yet meaningful.

Just as Avery was about to leave, Pearl, the lead actress of the movie, approached them.

"Arnold, you're not here to visit me, are you?"

"Of course I am," Arnold chuckled, slinging an arm around Avery's shoulder. "This is my little brother. Take care of him, will you?"

Pearl smiled, "Nydia has already briefed me. Don't worry, I'll look after your brother."

After she left with Avery, Arnold handed Aurelia a drink. "Pearl is also a protege of Nydia's. She'll take good care of Avery."

Watching her younger brother, Aurelia's eyes were filled with affection. "Seeing Avery healthy and ready to lead a normal life again makes me really happy."

Arnold's deep brown eyes shimmered in the sunlight, "I must admit that I'm a little envious of your close relationship."

Growing up in the Stirling family, Arnold was used to fighting for his father's attention, seeing his siblings more as competitors than family.

Aurelia could see through his thoughts and she smiled, "We're all each other has. If our parents had another child, it would disrupt the balance between us."

Arnold laughed, "Maybe there are just too many of us Stirlings. It has disrupted the balance."
