Tanya's lips twisted into a grimace as she said, "Get me a plane. I need to fly to Verdecalma immediately."
A few days later, Hanson arrived, summoned by a phone call from Jessica.
"Jessica, you called me in such a rush. Did something happen again?"
Jessica patted his shoulder. "I've got a place to show you."
They got into a car and drove to a secluded villa.
Pushing open the door, they saw the imposing silhouette of a man standing in the center of the living room.
Hanson's eyes lit up. "Leopold, you're out of the hospital?"
With a sly curve of his lips, Leopold replied, "I never checked in. I just staged a little drama."
Hanson chuckled. "Well, that's a relief. Good to see you're alright."
A maid descended the stairs, cradling a baby in her arms.
Jessica took the infant from her, asking her to prepare some formula.
Hanson eyed the child curiously, a flicker of surprise in his gaze. "Jessica, whose child is this?"
Jessica gently stroked the sleeping baby. "Who do you think he resembles?"
Hanson peered closer. "I... can't tell. He doesn't look like Leopold but does remind me a bit of..." He trailed off, his expression one of disbelief.
"Skyler as a baby, right?" Jessica said.
Hanson was astounded. "This can't be Skyler's child. He's still a kid, clueless about the birds and the bees."
Leopold stepped forward, his voice grave. "Hanson, do you remember I mentioned Skyler might have an identical twin brother named Geoffrey? If they're identical twins, this child's DNA test would show a parental match with both of them."
He presented a DNA report and explained how the AK Group tried to pull off a baby switch.
Hanson could hardly believe his ears.
"So all this was Geoffrey's doing, Skyler's twin brother?"
