Nicole looked up at him, but Clayton only smiled and lifted his feet to walk to the boarding gate.
Only after watching Clayton's back disappear did Nicole quietly return to her senses.
Since things had started, it was impossible to stop midway.
There must be a conclusion for this matter.
After sorting her thoughts, Nicole instantly regained her cool and calm.
Nicole turned around.
Autumn stood there.
Their eyes met, and Autumn very clearly avoided her gaze for a moment.
Nicole smirked. "Ms. Ferguson, if you really want to follow, I can help you."
Autumn froze.
At once, Autumn was so ashamed that she wanted to find a crack in the ground.
She understood very well what Nicole meant.
No matter how much Autumn was infatuated with Clayton, Autumn would not be able to follow him on the flight after seeing Clayton being so lovey-dovey with Nicole.
It would just look as if she was too eager.
"There's no need. I’m just here to see Chairman Sloan off."
Autumn bit her lower lip and turned to leave.
However, Nicole's bodyguards quickly blocked Autumn's path.
Nicole walked over slowly and narrowed her eyes.
"The reporter has already confessed.”
At those words, Autumn panicked.
"Confessed to what? What has it got to do with me? I don't even know any journalists."
"Is that so?"
Autumn denied stiffly. "Of course! Show me evidence i f you can. Otherwise, it’s just slander!”
Autumn was certain that even if the reporter implicated her, Nicole would not be able to produce any substantial evidence.
Thus, Autumn had nothing to be afraid of.
Nicole looked at Autumn and smiled.
