Nicole felt that if she did not stop Clayton now, it would be difficult to end it later.
Clayton was stunned and looked at her seriously with dark eyes.
"What’s the matter? You don't wanna look anymore?”
Nicole felt like a domineering bully.
Why was she bullying Clayton?
Her toes curled in embarrassment.
Nicole said calmly, "You undressed very well. Do it again later at night.”
Clayton was silent.
He calmly buttoned his shirt again and took a deep look at Nicole.
"Sure."
Anyway, he was very happy to do this for Nicole.
In the evening, when the nanny came back, she went over to greet Chatty happily.
The nanny saw that Nicole and Clayton were calmly watching a movie in the living room.
The mood was just right.
They sat there until Chatty could not stay awake and started yawning. Clayton then asked the nanny to tuck Chatty into bed.
Clayton looked at Nicole with a burning gaze as if there was a violent storm brewing in the darkness.
Nicole felt a little regretful because she felt that it would be a long night.
Clayton hugged and kissed her, but he did not want to get down to it and insisted on letting Nicole undress him.
Nicole took off Clayton’s clothes and they tumbled around in bed for two hours until they were sweaty.
That night, Nicole was so exhausted that she could not even lift a finger.
The next day, she slept until noon.
She regained some of her energy. Initially, she thought of going to the office, but she decided not to.
The spot next to her was empty.
Clayton had good physical strength and always recovered much faster than her.
It had always been like this.
Nicole felt clean and refreshed. Clayton had always been very attentive in this regard. Otherwise, she would not be able to sleep.
She came out of the room after washing up.
There was food on the table, but no one was in the kitchen.
The nanny came downstairs and greeted Nicole with a smile.
"Madam, you’re awake! The soup should be ready. Let me serve it to you."
Nicole smiled and walked to the dining table, where there was only one portion of breakfast.
She paused. "Where's Mr. Sloan
The nanny smiled. "Mr. Sloan has something urgent to attend to at the office. He was afraid that Chatty would cry and bother you, so he took her with him. He said that you worked hard yesterday and didn’t want anyone to disturb you..."
"You worked hard yesterday..." The nanny said this without a change in expression, but Nicole's face was flushed.
Nicole's breath quickened slightly. She took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"Right... I had too many friends over yesterday, so it was quite tiring..."
Nicole simply came up with an excuse and did not care whether the nanny believed her or not.
"I've never seen anyone who's more attentive than Mr. Sloan. He's the president of a big company and he looks like a movie star, but he's so humble. He cooked this meal by himself and asked me to reheat the soup so that you can have it warm as soon as you wake up."
The nanny was kind to tell Nicole this. Nicole lowered her eyes and smiled.
Actually, it would not be a bad thing if she fell head over heels in love with Clayton, right?
However, Nicole still did not want to tell Clayton about her current mood because she did not want him to feel too proud of himself.
Nicole had a good appetite. After breakfast, she planned to go shopping and drop by the office in the afternoon.
As a result, Clayton called right on the dot.
"Baby?"
His voice felt like a surge of electric current in her ears, which made her heart flutter and her heartbeat accelerate.
Nicole thought about the chaos last night and did not want to recall it anymore.
She could only think of one phrase to describe Clayton, "A beast in human skin."
Nicole did not speak. Clayton waited for a few seconds before he coaxed her in a soft voice, "Baby, I just bought you a necklace. Do you wanna take a look at it?"
Nicole pouted and did not really mean what she said. "Who cares about a necklace?"
