The Deserted Rich Beauty novel Chapter 1988

You Wanted to Dig a Hole for Me

Nicole was not shocked or scared when she saw Tyler. She smiled calmly. Her expression was indifferent to conceal her emotions.

"Why should I hide? What’s there to be scared of?"

Tyler was interested in Nicole and sat across from her.

"Aren't you afraid of me? I caught your friends last time. Didn't Clayton tell you about me?"

He seemed to be asking Nicole if she was afraid of him, but he kept mentioning Clayton.

Nicole smiled and pretended not to understand him.

"This is a country with a rule of law. You and your subordinates acting tough is no threat to me. You can only attack in secret, so would you dare to touch me in such a public place?"

Tyler was stunned for a moment, then he smiled deeply and meaningfully.

"Ms. Stanton, you're just as straightforward as the legend says. How did a b*stard like Clayton manage to marry you? Putting aside his clean and innocent-looking face that can deceive women, he’s actually very insidious!"

Nicole snorted lightly and shook her head.

If Clayton heard this, he would have been angry.

However, Nicole sighed and said, "All I care about is that he's handsome."

Tyler's smile froze, and his eyes were a bit cold.

"If you're willing to be my woman, I’ll share half of everything with you. I'm much better and more generous than that insidious and cunning man!"

Nicole raised her eyebrows. "Is that how you coaxed Ingrid?"

"Eric’s younger sister? Hahaha! There's no need for me to do that. She’s so simple-minded that she believes whatever I say.'

Tyler laughed smugly.

Nicole's smile gradually faded. "Where is Ingrid now?"

Tyler asked, "Why are you asking about this?"

"I'm just curious. She's dead set on you. She'll go crazy if she finds out that you're here to flirt with me. Besides, isn't your cooperation with Eric based on Ingrid?"

Tyler squinted at Nicole.

"You know a lot, huh?"

"Actually, I came to meet you with a purpose this time."

Nicole looked at him. Tyler's looks were unremarkable, but he was so ruthless that she could easily feel his evil vibe.

Tyler was certainly different from ordinary people.

Nicole silently suppressed her nervous :h(> XJP: turbulent heart and calmed herself down.

Her voice was also extremely calm.

"You're looking for me? Did you finally think it through to be my woman?" There was an undisguised possessiveness in his sharp eyes, the kind of greed that made Nicole feel like a poisonous snake was wrapped around her neck with its cold and sharp fangs swaying in front of her.

Nicole lowered her eyes for a moment, then looked at him with a smile. Her gaze was very sincere.

“I have a batch of goods that were shipped to Southeast Asia. Unfortunately, security has been too tight recently because of you. I've been targeted by people everywhere, so I can't ship the goods out. I want to cooperate with you to ship this batch of goods out. You can take 10% of the goods’ value, how about that?"

Tyler's face stiffened. The lust in his eyes faded, and it was replaced with vigilance and playfulness.

"Goods? What do you have in your hands? You need my help for Stanton

Corporation's business?"

Nicole calmly took out her phone and found the coordinates.

"It’s not from the Stanton Corporation. It’s my personal stash - a batch of antiques that can’t be shipped out. I’m sure you're aware that the last time I was kidnapped, Snakehead saved me. Since he’s my life-saver, I couldn't reject his small request. Everything went so well, but now, the goods are stuck in my hands.”

When Tyler heard the name, "Snakehead", the corners of his mouth twitched slightly. He looked serious as he squinted at her.

Smuggling antiques?

The relaxed mood gradually became more solemn.

Nicole truly realized that negotiating with such outlaws and negotiating with people in legit business was completely different.

The former relied on acting, and the latter relied on capability.

"Why? Did Clayton ask you to come? Is he trying to dig a hole for me?"
