The Deserted Rich Beauty novel Chapter 2013

Clayton's tone was cold, and his eyes were gloomy.

"You still don’t want to admit it, huh?

Actually, it doesn't matter whether you admit it or not. I’ll still hold you accountable since Nicole was hurt in your hands.”

Angie covered her face and cried miserably. She was vulnerable and wretched.

"It wasn't me! It really wasn't me! Let me go!”

Clayton sneered coldly.

"Let you go? How can I give you such a bargain? Unless... You tell me why you wanted to push Nicole into the sea. Is it because of your feelings for Eric? Nah... If it was because of him, you wouldn't have left Mediania so easily when Caleb was arrested back then. So, what's the real reason?"

His voice was light, but a little playful.

It was as if he had already expected the answer and just wanted to play a game with her.

If she did not tell him the truth, she would be tortured here forever.

In two months, Angie would be dead.

“Eric already left, and he didn't even ask about you. I can't touch him, but I can certainly do whatever I want with you!"

Clayton’s tone was extremely cold, and his eyes were gloomy.

“Your son will be with him soon. Well, what a coincidence. I'm also going back to

Mediania soon."

Angie’s body stiffened, and she looked up at him abruptly.

Her face became extremely glum.

She hung on, thinking that someone would come to her rescue, but to no avail.

Eric left without even asking about her.

He was probably hoping for Angie to quietly die here, right?

That way, no one would bother him anymore.

Angie's tears fell uncontrollably.

Her whole body was trembling. Angie, who was invincible, finally had a weakness.

"Please don’t harm my son..."

Clayton laughed lightly. "I never implicate innocent people, and I don’t care if your son belongs to Eric because he doesn't care about your son at all. If I bully your son, perhaps Eric will be applauding on the sidelines. I won't help Eric solve his troubles. But that doesn't mean that I won't act on an impulse one day... So, I'll ask you one last time. Why did you push Nicole into the sea?!"

Angie's shoulders shuddered violently.

There was silence for a few seconds.

Then, she gritted her teeth =f)=YNQ: said," It was me. I instructed my men to do it."

Angie thought that Clayton could not do anything to her if she did not admit it.

At least, she would be able to survive.

However, what mattered now was not her survival.

Clayton was never one to negotiate.

He would not give up until he achieved what he wanted.

Angie could handle it, but the child would not be able to.

If she lost her child, how could she still return to Eric's side?

Clayton's sharp eyes glowed as he looked at her coldly without a trace of warmth.

It was very oppressive.

"Continue."

He spat out this word coldly, obviously dissatisfied with her simple and superficial admission of guilt.

His purpose was not for Angie to admit to a fact that he already knew.

Angie took a deep breath. Her voice trembled uncontrollably.

"I know that Eric isn't true to my brother. He always thinks that we’re from different worlds and looks down on people like us who dabble in shady business. If Nicole dies, you'll completely go berserk on Eric, and he'll have no choice but to rely on us to fight against you. By then, he won't be able to leave me. I want to make him become someone like me so that he has no reason to dislike me anymore."

Angie's voice became lower. She lay on the ground and shivered.

She was always looking up to that man who was unmoving like a mountain.
