The Deserted Rich Beauty novel Chapter 2024

Clayton, who was walking down the stairs, heard this and said, "Big Brother, Chatty can't even walk steadily now. She'll be sent home as soon as we bring her there. Let's just wait for two more years."

Grant raised his eyebrows. "Alright, Dad will follow Levi over for a few days so that Levi can get used to the place before Dad leaves."

Clayton nodded. "Dad is our family's backbone."

He sighed and thought, 'Poor Chatty!'

Nicole walked over quickly.

"What did Dad say to you just now in the study?"

Clayton looked at her with a smile. His eyes were gentle and reflected the light.

"Take a guess!”

Nicole could not guess what he was thinking because Clayton looked so nonchalant.

She pursed her lips and pinched his waist gently.

Clayton pursed his lips, lowered his head, and whispered in her ear, "Are you trying to murder your husband?"

His voice pierced through Nicole's heart like an electric current.

She stretched out her arms and hugged his waist with a smile.

"Do I even need to do it myself if I want to murder you?”

The two of them looked at each other tacitly and smiled.

Grant stood there and coughed, insisting on interrupting their mushiness.

Aida smiled, rolled her eyes at Grant, turned around, and went to coax her son.

Levi was already accustomed to going to school.

Anyway, Levi had already finished third grade of elementary school when kids his age just started kindergarten. Thus, Levi could accept Grant's strictness.

It was just that Levi would really miss his mother.

After a few days, Clayton and Nicole brought Chatty along to send Levi to school with Grant and Aida.

Along the way, Grant did not comfort his son.

On the contrary, Grant was comforting

Aida, who was reluctant to part with Levi.

Aida sat in the back with red eyes while Grant coaxed her softly.

Little Levi sighed and could not bear to listen to it anymore. He looked back at his parents from the passenger seat and said," Mommy, you're not the one going to school.

I should be the one crying!”

Aida wiped away her tears.

"Mommy just can’t bear to leave you. You’ll be the youngest in your class. You must tell Mommy if anyone bullies you, okay?"

"Okay, Mommy."

Grant smiled, put his arms around Aida's shoulders, >e&=RJS< chuckled.

"It's not like Levi has to stay in school all the time. He can come home every day if you want. Should we do that so that you’ll get used to it first?"

He was smiling with his eyes like he was making fun of Aida.

Aida saw through Grant's thoughts, glared at him, and sniffled.

"Go away! If my baby suffers in school, I won't let you off the hook!"

Grant nodded repeatedly.

“Okay. I've already greeted his teachers and investigated his classmates’ characters and backgrounds. They're all friendly and cheerful children, so they won't bully him."

Aida pursed her lips. "That's more like it...’

She was relieved knowing that Grant had done his research.

Grant had a relatively long-term plan for Levi.

Although it sounded a bit inhumane, it was all to cultivate and nurture Levi. This was also the best option.

Otherwise, Aida would not have agreed so easily.

She grew up in the gentry circle as well, so she knew very well that a trust fund baby that muddled through life had no prospects.

Being a useless trust fund baby was ridiculous and pitiful in the eyes of outsiders, and even more so to themselves.

Aida did not wish for a gifted son, but she wanted her son to be healthy and happy.
