Nicole looked straight at Eric.

Her voice was low and calm without showing any signs of panic.

If it were not for the paleness of her face, it would be impossible to tell that she had lost her composure in her sleep because of a man.

He walked in as if nothing had happened, walked to the chair next to the bed, and sat down.

She covered her ears with her hands and started to cry.

Chatty saw her mother crying, so she hugged Nicole in distress and patted her carefully.
