Nicole shook hands with the man gently and smiled. He had an accent and spoke eloquently.

However, he did not seem like a native English speaker.

“You’re welcome.”

“Ms. Stanton, I heard that your friend is still there. To thank you for your help, we’ll help you rescue your friend while we capture Sebastian and destroy the laboratory. What’s his name?”

Nicole lowered her eyes slightly, pursed her lips, and was silent for a few seconds.
