Chance also looked left and right, seemingly looking for something.

When Selena asked him, Chance answered solemnly, “I’m looking around to see if Daddy is hiding somewhere. What if he comes to pick me up?”

Selena sneered.

“Stop dreaming. Your dad is considered nice to allow you into the house. How can he come back to pick you up? I don’t even dare to think about it on your behalf!”

Chance silently lowered his head and thought, ‘Aunt Selena really understands Daddy!’

However, Chance felt a little guilty. After all, he made up this excuse and made Eric seem like a ruthless person.

He hoped that his dad would not blame him when he found out.

“I’ll call him!”

Selena was glad to hear this.

After all, she did not want to talk to Eric.

Chance took out his smartwatch, found Eric’s phone number, said a few words, and hung up.

Selena did not have the habit of listening to other people’s phone calls, so she went to the warehouse to find the unused camp bed.
