Nicole took a sip of lemonade and looked at Ava with a smile.
"I can’t help it. My life is good."
Nicole would have gotten back at Ava if it was someone else.
When Nicole woke up, she had to be responsible for the livelihood of tens of thousands of people under her hands. She could not even bear to eat if there was just the slightest turbulence in the stock market.
'It’s hard for me as a president too, okay?' Nicole thought.
Ava choked and felt like cotton was stuffed into her throat.
She smiled and took out her phone. "Why don't we add each other on WhatsApp? We'll keep in contact...”
Nicole's eyes flashed and she hesitated for a split second before agreeing.
"Sure..."
She really wanted to know what purpose Ava had for showing up here.
After adding Nicole's contact, Ava pushed her phone t o Clayton and batted her seductive eyes, smiling flirtatiously.
"Let's add each other too."
Clayton refused gently. "No, I don't use social media often."
Ava’s hand rested on her chin. Her eyes moved slightly and flickered between him and Nicole.
"Isn't that an excuse? What kind of person doesn't use social media? Could it be that Nicole doesn't allow you to talk to other women? How could Nicole be such a petty person?"
Nicole smiled and raised her brows. She looked at Clayton.
"Yes, just add her. It might be useful..."
Clayton looked troubled. He was obviously reluctant.
However, since Nicole said so, he could not refuse. He had no choice but to add Ava's contact.
Nicole glanced at Clayton’s front page. Ava immediately sent him a "shooting heart" emoji. It was very cute and adorable.
She then looked at her own front page. It was empty.
