The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 155

Chapter 155 Childish

Her heart raced.

Brendon gently released her hand, grabbed the bathrobe, and quickly opened the door. He lowered his head, moving closer to her.

"Could you take a look? My back is a bit itchy," he said.

Startled by his approach, Ranita took two steps back. It took her a while to find her voice, and she said, "Lower down. I can't see."

Brendon bent forward slightly until finally revealing what lay beneath within sight range.

The bathrobe was tightly wrapped, making it impossible to see anything. Ranita had no choice but to reach out and adjust it. It seemed that Brendon had scratched himself a few times, leaving a few noticeable nail marks on his back, with some red dots in the middle.

"It's so itchy!" Brendon extended his hand, ready to scratch again.

"Don't scratch!" Ranita stopped his fingers and said anxiously, "If you scratch it, it'll only make it worse."

Brendon, with his fingers held by her, turned his head to look at her.

Ranita's eyelashes drooped, quiet and beautiful. Brendon had a thought and smirked, "Can you scratch it lightly for me? It's really itchy."

"I brought some ointment. I'll put some on for you." Ranita had a small first aid kit in her luggage with itch-relieving ointment.

Brendon obediently lay on the couch, revealing his back. "Hurry up."

She raised an eyebrow.

There was a hint of mischievousness in his expression.

Ranita's heart melted into a puddle at his teasing.

"Don't move, I'll put some ointment on for you." She squeezed out some onto a cotton swab but as soon as she poked him with it, Brendon sat up straight and stared at her with raised eyebrows. "The cotton swab is too thick; it hurts my skin."

"Use your hand!"

Ranita gritted her teeth and teased him back, "Such a delicate flower!"
