"Don't be jealous, no crying allowed!" Threatened, Ranita reached out and hit Brendon, annoyed. "You're scolding me again!"
"Are you determined to make a fool out of me in front of Miss Murphy?!" Ranita's voice was soft, charming and annoyed, scratching like a cat's paw, making people itch.
Brendon found this version of Ranita interesting and lively, stirring his heart.
"I didn't scold you," Brendon said sullenly. "So many people giving you flowers, dedicating all their love to you? Too cheesy!"
Ranita thought to herself: Did you say anything cheesy when you were with Shannon?
Heh heh! Men!
"You like flowers, so I'll give them to you. Don't accept others'!" At Brendon's words, Ranita's heart raced.
Shannon turned pale immediately. She complained to Brendon, "Brendon... ah... I feel a bit dizzy."
As soon as Shannon spoke, she collapsed to the ground.
"Shannon!" Brendon rushed to help, but Ranita instinctively grabbed his hand. "Honey, I'm also dizzy!"
"Thud!"
The apartment had no carpet, and Shannon fell to the ground with a loud sound, making Ranita feel it was painful.
At this moment, Ranita felt strangely relieved.
"Brendon! It hurts so much! Can you come over and help me?" Shannon, lying on the ground, looked up at Brendon with misty eyes.
So pitiful!
Brendon, unable to bear it, helped Ranita sit down. "I'll go help..."
