Shannon was silently telling her something.
Brendon could take care of her, be with her, it was Shannon's gift to Ranita!
Ranita's heart turned cold as ice.
"Ranita, let me put these flowers in a vase for you! Do you have one here?" Shannon's eyes were gentle and she seemed unaware of what she had just said. She fluttered away like a butterfly to find a vase.
Ranita's smile was icy. "Don't trouble, Miss Murphy. I don't like daisies."
"Oh... you don't like them?" Shannon looked at Brendon with a pitiful expression. "Brendon, did I do something wrong? Did I upset Ranita?"
"I... just wanted to check on Ranita because I'm worried about her. I didn't mean to disturb you guys." Shannon choked up and sounded even more pitiful.
Brendon furrowed his brows and said, "It's nothing. She might be a bit tired and wants to rest. Let's go talk outside!"
"Alright then!" Shannon bit her lip, pitifully looking at Ranita. "Ranita, I won't disturb you."
Shannon hesitated before speaking again and glanced at Brendon, "There is something that both you and Ranita might not want to hear but I have to say it."
"Ranita had been captive for so many days; it must have taken a toll on her physically and mentally. I know a reliable doctor. Would you like me to introduce you to them?"
"Can you please say something nice instead?" Just then the hospital room door opened and Dylan pushed Eve inside while holding roses in his hand.
