The video was still posted on the official forum of his high school to this day.
Ranita saved it and watched it many times over. It wasn't until she married Brendon that she learned of Shannon's existence. When she saw the photo of Shannon holding a cello, her passion was extinguished by a cold reality.
In the end, Ranita deleted the video.
"Hmph! You haven't even eaten yet, how do you know I failed?" Brendon grumbled, clearly not wanting to admit that he didn't have much talent in cooking.
"Come on, if we wait too long, the noodles will get cold," Ranita said softly with a playful pout in her eyes that made her look adorable.
Brendon reached into the covers and tickled her, "Not getting up?"
Ranita laughed and rolled around before grabbing Brendon's hand. Her eyes were red from laughter as she scolded him, "Stop it! It's so ticklish!"
"Get up already!" Brendon pulled back the covers and lifted her up from underarms as Ranita suddenly felt weightless for a moment before quickly wrapping her arms around his neck.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm carrying you to eat!" After walking a few steps, Brendon asked, "Is your leg still hurting?"
"You just massaged it. I'm not expecting miracles here," said Ranita who wasn't being overly dramatic since cramps can be really painful sometimes. The last time she had one it lasted for days but thankfully Steve gave her some medicine which helped alleviate some pain...
"Oh yeah, could you grab my phone? I need to call Dr. Pearson..." Before she finished sentence though, Brendon cut her off with an icy tone, "Why are you calling Steve? Are you asking him to come over and massage your leg? What kind of dream world are you living in?"
Brendon put down Ranita on a chair then circled behind her while pressing his cheek against hers as he spoke gloomily, "Ranita, don't forget we're still married."
"I just wanted Dr. Pearson to send me two bags of medicine so I can apply heat therapy... why are you jumping into conclusions?" Pausing briefly, Ranita suddenly lowered her voice, "Brendon, there is something Iwant to talk to you about our divorce..."
