The next day, Neera went out of the house after having breakfast with the triplets.

Her aunt had been setting up medical research centers across the world. One of the research centers in the country was located in Kingsview.

She was the new administrator of the research center, and she was going there to introduce herself.

Also, she had to go to Grace Hospital operated by the Lopez Group to meet Isabella Lopez, her best friend.

Grace Hospital was one of the most famous hospitals in Kingsview. While Neera was abroad, Isabella had invited her several times to medical conferences held in Grace Hospital.

She did not want to return back then, so she could only decline.

Luckily for her, Isabella was sympathetic to her situation, and they eventually lost contact.

Now that Neera was back in Kingsview, she decided she should visit Isabella.

Before she left, she got the triplets to stand in a row, and she warned them not to leave the house.

"I have some business to attend to. The three of you should stay at home and not go outside. If there's an emergency, you must call me immediately. Do you understand?"

The triplets nodded obediently.

"Don't worry, Mommy. I'll take good care of my younger siblings!" Harvey said precociously.

Neera patted the triplets' heads and reluctantly left the house.

Meanwhile, Jean went to his company after breakfast.

After the hour-long daily morning meeting in the conference room, he returned to his office. Ian came in with a document as soon as he sat down.

"Sire, I've found some information about Dr. Garcia," Ian said and placed the document on the desk in front of Jean.

"What a coincidence. Dr. Garcia is Neera Garcia, the eldest daughter of Alfonso Garcia and Roxanne Garcia's elder sister from another mother! She was adopted by a couple in the slums and was only reunited with the Garcia family six years ago. A slum girl like her didn't fit in high society at all. Her tacky clothes and lack of etiquette made her the laughingstock of the upper crust. Later, something more outrageous happened…"

Jean browsed through the document and raised his eyebrows. "What is it?"

"Six years ago… There was a scandal involving someone from the Garcia family, saying that she was involved in an orgy with three men in a hotel. Dr. Garcia was the woman involved! Mr. Zachary Fain from the Fain family, Dr. Garcia's then-fiancé, had canceled his engagement with her. Roxanne tried to argue for her, but that only incited public anger. Ian could not help but think, I shouldn't have judged her by her looks! Dr. Garcia seems so cold and unapproachable, but she used to be so promiscuous! Going by their ages, the three adorable children seem to be a product of that scandal!

Jean was not concerned about that. He put the document away and tapped his fingers on the table.

"Do you have any information about her when she was abroad?"

Ian came to his senses and answered, "I'm sorry, Sire. All I managed to find out is that she has been living with Adriana Garcia, her aunt. Her details are deliberately hidden, as though someone doesn't want her information to be found. It'll take some time before I can uncover anything else."

"Oh," Jean said and narrowed his gaze.

How interesting. Her information is out of the Beauvort family's reach!

Ian carefully looked at Jean. "So… should I continue investigating?"

Jean thumped two fingers on the table. "Continue!"
