The water flooded her ears and throat.

Chloe Summers' biggest weakness was not knowing how to swim.

Yet now, she found herself in the sea, salty water rushing into her lungs.

The ship deck was crowded with people.

The sea surface was currently rough with waves, and a few seconds later, it turned into a torrential downpour.

Suddenly, a tall, dark figure rushed out of the crowd.

He saw the two struggling in the sea, and his handsome face was filled with anxiety.

Without hesitation, not even taking time to take off his uniform, he jumped into the icy sea.

The heavy rain blurred his vision, and he struggled hard to eventually save one person.

"Keira, Keira, wake up..."

He was panting, not caring about his current predicament, anxiously calling out to the unconscious woman in his arms.

But he completely forgot that there was still another person in the sea.

Suddenly, an anxious female voice shouted from the crowd,

"Where's Chloe? Wasn't she invited out by Keira Summers?! Where is she?!"

Lightning in the distance, accompanied by the rumble of thunder seemed to tear apart the entire night sky and the dark sea.

Everyone looked towards the turbulent sea, but could not see any struggling figures.

The woman who just mentioned Chloe and Keira fell into the water together suddenly burst into tears,

"Chloe can't swim!!!"

The man holding Keira suddenly stiffened.

Yes, he did see Chloe when he was in the sea.
