"Buzz off!" Nathan spat.
Kane dodged Nathan's outburst, "Dude, why are you eyeballing your sister-in-law when you're already hitched?"
"I'm just admiring and adoring! Can you zip it? My brother is super sensitive, if he gets wind of this, I'm toast! And what did you just say, it was you who saved Chloe..."
"Cut the crap! Shut your trap! If Damon gets wind of this, I'm screwed."
"Relax, he's got at least half an hour in that meeting..."
"What are you two talking about?"
Before Nathan could finish, a familiar cold voice echoed from the doorway.
Both of them exchanged a glance, froze, and coughed awkwardly.
"I...I...I was just admiring how badass Chloe is, way cooler than that Keira!"
Nathan caught a glimpse of the computer screen and found the perfect excuse.
Sure enough, Damon's attention was drawn to Chloe. He walked to his desk, tossed his files aside, and sat down.
"Did you turn on the comments?"
Nathan quickly denied, "No, not at all. Chloe is too beautiful, I wouldn't let comments obscure her."
Damon smirked and continued watching the screen.
Nathan and Kane breathed a sigh of relief and quietly continued watching.
If it were before, they would have been booted out already, but now...
Having Chloe was a blessing.
"If you don't want to go, fine, but don't regret it later!" Carolina muttered angrily.
