Carolina sighed in exasperation, "Every time she makes that face, it's usually because of her sister. This time, though, Keira shares some of the blame for spilling the beans to Uuro. It's a bit of a dick move, but I kinda get it. After all, my granddaughter has been bullying her more and more over the years. So, I guess Keira's resentment is understandable. See, my granddaughter is making a scene again. Now, she was accusing Keira of plagiarizing her work in the national selection. She's been living on her own for years, and her temper's been getting worse. She's become so moody."
Though she kept bringing up her granddaughter, her tone was dripping with criticism.
Sophie shot Carolina a worried glance, then looked nervously at Chloe.
Now that Joshua, a big shot, was standing by Keira's side. It was clear who the winner of tonight's sister showdown was.
Considering the incident six years ago, no one would believe that a student personally mentored by a revered perfume master would plagiarize an obscure work.
Sure enough. Upon hearing Carolina's words, Joshua finally turned his gaze to Chloe.
"Keira plagiarized her work?" Joshua furrowed his brow, turned to Keira and asked in a serious tone, "Did you?"
"Absolutely not! Mr. Joshua, how could I do something so unethical? You're my mentor, so I would never do anything to tarnish your reputation." Keira denied it vehemently!
"Well, this is awkward. Who would've thought Keira was Joshua's student? Chloe's really screwed now."
"Not only is she Rosanna, but she's also Joshua's student. Plagiarism? That's hilarious! Get outta here!"
At this point, everyone seemed to be on the side of justice, unanimously condemning Chloe, the "villain".
Keira sported a smug smile, her eyes filled with barely concealed malice and satisfaction.
