Keira's head was clearing up a bit now. Since Chloe didn't show her face earlier, then there was no chance she would show up now.
She wasn't sure what else Chloe could pull. As for her right now, she could only play it by ear.
At this point, she could only guess that Chloe might have already left, or won't show up again. So she had to blow things up. As long as she appeared righteously indignant, as if she was being treated unfairly and insulted, then even if she didn't win the award today, when she returned home, in front of the media and even the world, she would have a justification.
That Chloe was pulling strings behind the scenes, that someone was targeting her!
She was the victim!
Even if she was questioned. Chloe's reputation wouldn't fare well either, and Fragrance Frenzy would be under scrutiny worldwide. If she was going down, she would take everyone with her!
Sid immediately frowned. He could guess her intentions.
To make Fragrance Frenzy take the fall for her, she had got some nerve.
"Miss Rosanna, someone reported your competition work as plagiarism. Don't you feel a bit guilty?" Sid asked.
Keira answered, "I didn't plagiarize. I've always been against plagiarism. I didn't want to spell it out because I wanted to help save her dignity, to make her realize her mistakes and not break the rules of the fragrance world. But now, she's pushing me! Forcing me to be her enemy time and time again! Since she's cornering me like this, I have no choice but to tell the truth! It's my sister Chloe who plagiarized my work! She did it six years ago and I let it slide because of our familial ties. Now she's slandering me for plagiarism at such an important occasion! She's taking revenge on me. She's biting the hand that feeds her! I really want to ask her. What have I done to hurt her, that she has to frame me like this!"
Keira clenched her hands tightly. Of course, she was nervous. But she seemed to be deceived by her own lies, and became genuinely angry.
Chloe just stood there, listening to Keira's words. She couldn't help but smile.
She wanted Keira to say these words. She wanted to give her the opportunity to dig her own grave. She only needed to deliver the final blow, and it would be enough.
Many people in the field knew about the sisters' relationship. Keira's unreserved comments made everyone more curious about the conflict between her and her sister.
"Are you sure your sister stole your work?"
Keira smirked, "How many times do I have to say it? I'm Rosanna, personally trained by Joshua, why would I plagiarize a thief’s work?”
Seeing Keira's firm attitude, Joshua relaxed a bit, "Rosanna is my student. I've seen her formula before the competition, she was diligently researching perfume formulas those days. How could such a person plagiarize?"
Seeing Joshua stand up for her, Keira breathed a sigh of relief. Her biggest reliance tonight was Joshua.
