Their commotion had attracted the attention of others at the party, including Felix and Chloe. Especially when Chloe turned her head and looked over, the seemingly “hypocritical” smile on her face looked like a provocation to Elsa.

The rage in her chest erupted. Despite her high heels, she strode towards Chloe.

Seeing Elsa approaching with a stern look, Nathan quickly stepped out from behind Chloe. But Chloe calmly moved her body and blocked him.

“You bitch!” Elsa screamed in anger, and swung her hand towards Chloe's face.

Chloe squinted her eyes, stepped back, and accurately caught Elsa's hand before it could hit her face.

Elsa didn't expect to be stopped. She tried to pull back her hand, but Chloe was holding it tightly, almost crushing her wrist.

The more Elsa struggled, the stronger the pain she felt.

Chloe still had that cold smirk on her face. “Who are you calling a bitch?”

At Chloe's cold sneer and sarcastic reply, Elsa was fuming. “Are you blind? You saw me come in with Felix, and yet you're trying to lure him in publicly. What's that about?”

Upon hearing this, Chloe raised an eyebrow with interest.

“Me luring Felix?” She chuckled, “I think you've got it all wrong. I'm not into Felix the way you think...”

“Bullshit! What were you two doing just now?”

Chloe's eyes grew cold, “Which one of you saw me luring him?”

The people standing next to Wendy exchanged glances. It seemed like Felix was the one who initiated the contact from the very beginning.

Although Elsa was angry at Felix, she was even more angry at Chloe, “What if he's the one who approached you first? By not rejecting him, you're giving him a chance!”

Chloe laughed lightly. Elsa had a point.

“You've really misunderstood me,” said Chloe calmly. Her gaze passed over Elsa and landed on Wendy, “Has no one told you that I'm already engaged?”
