Then, Cathleen turned and left.
Margot and Patrick frowned hard. They could not speak for a long time.
They always thought Yvonne was honest, clever, and obedient, and more sensible than children of the same age. Because of this, even after learning that Yvonne was not their own daughter, the couple chose to keep her.
But who would have thought that this clever and sensible daughter began to scheme them at the age of six.
Margot, who had always prided herself on being shrewd and competitive, trembled with anger at the thought that she had been treated like a fool by her most obedient daughter for so many years.
"How can this be!" Margot's voice is shaking. "Over the years, we have treated her no different from our own daughter. Why would she deceive us like this!"
Margot couldn't stand being played like a fool for so many years.
"Dad, Mom, you all know."
In the hall, a voice suddenly sounded.
Nathan came in from the outside and saw that Margot and Patrick were very angry. He sipped his lip and walked to the front and back of the two people. His face looked complicated, "I wanted to wait for mother's condition to stabilize before telling you, but now that you all know, there is nothing to hide."
"What Grandma said is true. I personally investigated this matter. Yvonne was not abducted to her adoptive father's family, but sold by her own father."
"So, there is no amnesia at all. She knows her origin very well. She lied to you just because she didn't want to stay in the countryside to live a poor life. She knew that she could live a good life with you. Therefore, she lied and made you mistakenly think that she was the abducted daughter."
