"Nathan, you're also her grandson, and the eldest one. Why didn't your grandmother think about handing over the company to you? You're here helping Nikita speak up for herself. If you were as cunning as she is, you wouldn't be left with nothing!"
Nikita furrowed his brows again. "It’s not like that. The money belongs to Grandma, and she can give it to whomever she wishes."
Margot glared at him discontentedly. "Do you know how big your grandmother's business is? Do you know how much money she has? Can she just give her money to whoever she wants? Anyway, I won't let her give it to Nikita. She's confused right now and doesn't know what she's doing. I'll come to the hospital every day to take care of your grandmother. I have to keep an eye on her so she doesn't do anything foolish."
Most importantly, she must stop Nikita from getting an opening.
Margot believed that Nikita would definitely come to the hospital again to manipulate Cathleen. She had to keep a close eye on Cathleen.
After leaving Cathleen's ward, Nikita walked out of the hospital building and saw a crowd of people sitting in the green area downstairs.
Cathleen was staying in the VIP ward, and everything here was like a vacation resort, with large trees and flowers planted downstairs, as well as artificial streams and pavilions. It was a good place to relax and unwind during normal times.
Nikita was originally just glancing at the side when she saw a familiar figure.
She squinted her eyes and stopped walking.
She stared at the familiar figure for a while, then looked away, but suddenly heard a voice from beside her. "Nikita?"
The man's voice seemed uncertain.
Nikita turned her head and saw Corley standing behind her.
"It's really you." Corley looked at her, his gaze flickering a few times. After a few seconds of silence, he said with a complicated expression, "Are you here to see your grandmother?"
Cathleen was in a car accident, and Corley came to the hospital to see her.
