Nikita was only a few seconds slow to react. She pretty much guessed what was going on and looked at the sea of white flowers in front of her. "Did Sheehan set this up?"
Nacy neither confirmed nor denied. "Well, I've completed the mission someone arranged for me. As for the rest, if you're curious, you can ask him personally. I'll leave you two alone, to not be a third wheel and interrupt you."
"Follow this flower path, someone is waiting for you ahead."
With that, Nacy turned and left.
Nikita stood there for a few seconds before she looked up and stepped onto the petal-covered path, heading forward.
After a while, she found an elaborately decorated glass house with petals and lights. Beside it stood a tall and handsome man, holding a large bouquet named "Wedding Path". With a soft smile and a deepgaze fixed on her.
Seeing Sheehan, Nikita didn't show any surprise. She raised an eyebrow as she looked at the bouquet in his hand. "Weren't you going abroad for a business trip?"
Sheehan let out a low, soft chuckle. "Although this proposal ceremony is a bit cliché, I spent a lot of time setting it up myself. I don't ask you to like it, just hope you won't mind."
"Did you really set this up yourself?" This time Nikita was genuinely surprised.
Sheehan nodded. "These white roses are called Wedding Path, symbolizing loyalty to marriage and love, devotion, and a beautiful and happy marriage. Nikita, before I met you, I never thought I'd long for marriage and love, just like everyone else. I even thought I might be alone in my whole life."
"If it weren't for you, I really might have been alone until the day I die."
"Nikita, what I really want to say is, would you marry me and be my wife, so we can spend the rest of our lives together?"
