Just then, the door opened, and Sheldon walked in. Rachel stood up and politely greeted him.
"Mr. Smith."
Sheldon couldn't help but stare at Rachel a little longer, seemingly dazed.
Rachel's looks were out of this world. She had a hot figure and a cold, graceful demeanor. Everything about Rachel made Sheldon want to win her over.
"Long time no see, Ms. Carter. You've gotten even prettier," Sheldon commented.
Rachel politely replied, "Thanks, Mr. Smith. You're flattering me."
Austin simply sat there, acting like he was the big shot. "You're here, Sheldon. I used to work with William, but this is the first time I'm doing business with you.
"You seem pretty sharp. With you in charge, the Smith family's going to soar even higher."
Sheldon beamed at Austin and found himself a seat. "Grandpa sent me here. Honestly, I'm pretty busy myself, so let's cut to the chase. What's this all about, Mr. Stanford Senior?"
Seeing that Sheldon was playing dumb, Matthew had a hunch that things might not turn out well.
Austin flashed him a smile and responded, "Even though I'm not feeling well, I'm still concerned about how the medical industry in Lambda City is doing, especially since I've been a senior figure in this field here.
"I have a small request, Sheldon. Focus on your own business and stop causing trouble for others. Return the herbs, and don't sabotage the Carters' business. Can we count on you for that?"
Sheldon shrugged. "What herbs? I've no idea what you are talking about. Regarding what you asked, listen carefully. I'm the person in charge of where the Smith family is heading. Nobody gets to tell me what to do."
Austin gaped at Sheldon in surprise.
He twitched his mouth. "Are you aware of who you're speaking to? Do you know my position? No one in Lamda City's medical industry dares to disrespect me."
