The Indifferent Ex-Husband: Heartstrings in the Mall of Fate novel Chapter 329

Brandon glanced at her, his lips not budging an inch.

Sophia's face was a shade paler, her breath slightly held, not daring to meet his gaze.

Brandon's eyes grew darker, his hand slowly sliding into her palm, fingers intertwining tightly, yet his movements on her lips were graceful and slow.

The gentle nibbling on her neck sent shivers down her spine, tickling and thrilling.

His lips traveled from her neck to the side of her ear, then to her chin and finally aimed for her lips, but Sophia instinctively turned her head away.

Brandon's aim was off again, landing a kiss on the corner of her mouth.

He didn't move, but the grip on her hand gradually tightened.

With his eyes glinting like broken ice, he went in for another kiss.

This time he didn't let Sophia dodge.

The kiss came with the intensity of a storm, leaving Sophia with no place to hide.

She tried to pull away, but the more she struggled, the deeper Brandon kissed, the tighter his hold became.

He didn't even care that they were still in the lounge, nor if anyone might come in, just pressed her into the sofa, kissing more passionately by the second.

Sophia's attempts to resist crumbled under his relentless advance.

Heavy breathing started to fill the not-so-large space.

But still mindful of being in the lounge with the door unlocked, aside from devouring her kisses, Brandon didn't go any further.

After a while, the fierce kissing slowly turned tender and loving, until it gradually stopped.

But Brandon didn't let her go, just held her, catching his breath.

"Were you about to leave?" he asked, his voice still husky.

Sophia's voice was equally raspy and unsteady, "There's nothing much left for me here, thought I'd head back to rest."
